Thomas Fire – Touring the Damage

On December 4th, the Thomas Fire ripped through Ventura, forced my family to evacuate home (when my wife went into labor), and ultimately became the biggest wildfire in California history. While the fire still raged on, we were able to return home and survey the damage in our neighborhood. The closest flames caused damage at my next door neighbor’s house. The closest total loss was just three doors up the street. Here is the damage in my neighborhood from the Thomas Fire.
