Hi friends, long time no posts here on my personal blog! I just created an unofficial, unsupported version of a T2 Android app. It comes with no warranties. Use at your own risk.
You can download it here. It’s an unsigned app not available in Google Play or officially signed at the moment (honestly, I’m not sure how without doing more research), so you’ll have to follow the prompts to allow it to install.
Installation instructions:
- Click the link here.
- Download the file t2socialunofficial.apk to your Android device. If you get a notice that this file might be harmful, click “Download anyway” if you trust me.
- Open the .apk file wherever it is saved on your device. You may have to click to “Allow from this source” for the browser you used to download.
- Click “Install.”
- If you get the notice “Unfase app blocked (because I’m not a recognized developer), click the arrow for “More Details,” then “Install Anyway.”
- Open the app t2unofficial.
- Enjoy!
It’s basically just the t2.social website in an Android wrapper, but I like it better than running in my browser. It’s also my first ever Android app developed on my own! Happy to take feedback and suggestions through the GitHub project.
